News: Celebrating 15 Years of Services!

On October 19th, in honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network celebrated the success of our clients as we recognized those who have been hired during the past year.

Our annual client success recognition event was held at the Sierra Health Foundation and was a huge success with clients, families, employers, along with state and county officials attending. The day was filled with wonderful stories of perseverance and inspiration from our clients. It was a great way to honor and shine the spotlight on our clients who deserve every bit of praise for their accomplishments and how they have taken charge of changing their lives.

“There’s more than one way to save a life. It’s not always liberating someone from a life threatening ordeal. Another way to do so is to alter someone’s life in such a way that it literally pulls them out of an ever encompassing darkness. It is a darkness that consumes you when you’ve hit rock bottom and no matter what you do, you can’t escape it. When people like you and your organization extends a hand to people with disabilities, you offer a way out of the darkness. The world is still a place for the survival of the fittest, and under normal circumstances, we would probably have perished without the help of others. But once we get that chance to change our lives, and strive beyond our means, we can take over and walk on our own. Dreamcatchers saves lives and that makes you heroes.
